Dropping a brand new Coyote 5.0 engine in your classic Mustang, Cobra or Hot Rod? Many times the Factory Location Alternator on the Bottom Drivers Side interferes with the Chassis of the Car. This Alternator Relocation Kit moves the Alternator over to the Passenger Side to Remedy this.
Use this Coyote Engine Swap Alternator bracket along with some custom length belts. The stock alternator is Moved from the bottom driver side of the engine to the upper passenger side. Two belts are provided; one to drive the water pump and one to drive the alternator. Along with the belts you get both tensioners, ribbed pulley for the driver side tensioners, and idler pulley. Detailed instructions and hardware are included in the kit as well.
To get you the correct belt for your alternator we need to know what year it is and what pulley you have on it. So select if you have the 11-14 or 15-17 design below. Remember this kit will only work with an automatic GT alternator pulley or our Coyote Alternator pulley. All pulleys on Manual transmission cars have a clutch in them so when spun backwards do not charge.
